In Chattanooga, Tennessee, a verbal dispute inside a gas station escalated into a fatal shooting, claiming the life of 28-year-old Marquise Dwyane Jones. The Black / African American man was at the Hop-in station on Brainerd Road when the altercation occurred, leading to gunfire. A second individual, a 27-year-old man, was also shot during the incident but ultimately survived his injuries.
