Marty Borden Jr., a 23-year-old male from Cincinnati, Ohio, tragically lost his life following a double shooting in Moraine, a suburb of Dayton. The incident occurred late at night on February 2, 2025, near Orange Avenue and Pensacola Boulevard. Multiple 911 calls reported gunfire in the area, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the street.
Both victims were transported to the hospital, where Borden succumbed to his injuries the following afternoon at Kettering Health Dayton.
