Brandon Lanier, a 27-year-old male from Dayton, Ohio, tragically lost his life on October 25, 2016, due to a gunshot wound to the chest. He was killed in a late-night shooting incident that also left three other individuals injured. The shooting occurred on Riverside Drive in Dayton, where more than 50 rounds were fired. Authorities initially did not have information on whether gunfire was exchanged or if any suspects were being sought.
