Amid the chaos, officers were directed to Stores, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical personnel attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Stores, affectionately known as "Babo," was a beloved member of his community. Born on February 22, 1995, he was known for his love of traveling, shopping, and making music. His family and friends described him as a loyal, protective, and comedic presence in their lives. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Stores leaves behind his parents, numerous siblings, cousins, and children, including Ny'Layah, Ny'Leyia, Ny'Lah, DeAndre DeMoni', Devin, Brooklynn, Aubree, Demier, and Nomi, his niece whom he was raising.
Following the shooting, the Youngstown Police Department launched an investigation, with assistance from the Boardman and Campbell Police Departments. The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office was also involved in processing the crime scene. As of the latest updates, no arrests have been made, and authorities have not publicly identified any suspects. Detectives have urged witnesses who were present at the bar that evening to come forward with any information that could aid in solving the case.
