On September 13, 2020, in Chicago's West Pullman neighborhood, 86-year-old Herbert Davis, an African American male, was found deceased in his brother's residence on the 11900 block of South Lafayette Avenue. He had sustained five gunshot wounds. The tragic incident was discovered when Herbert Davis's daughter arrived at the home and found her father unresponsive.
