Janet Jay Crouch, a 37-year-old woman from Charleston, South Carolina, tragically lost her life on May 11, 2025, after being shot in her home in the West Ashley neighborhood. The incident occurred on Hollywood Drive, where authorities responded to reports of gunfire shortly after 8 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Janet Crouch suffering from a gunshot wound, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
