In the spring of 1987, the life of a young woman was tragically cut short in Charleston, South Carolina. Cynthia M. Williams, a 20-year-old female, was found dead on March 28, 1987. Her body was discovered discarded beside an expressway by two motorists who happened to be passing by. An investigation into her death revealed a story of violence and a series of brutal crimes that had plagued the area.
