On the evening of March 19, 2025, Rayshawn was fatally shot while taking out the garbage in the hallway of an apartment building located at 1802 East 13th Street in Cleveland. The circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation, and as of now, no arrests have been made in connection with his murder. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward, offering a cash reward for tips leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible.
Rayshawn's passing has left a void in the lives of his loved ones. His mother, Jamela Stubbs, his father, Rayshawn Watkins Sr., and his stepfather, Andre Baker, along with his siblings and extended family, continue to grieve his loss. His funeral services were held at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, followed by his burial at Evergreen Memorial Park.
