The July 23 incident resulted in Locklear's death and the injury of a woman, while the April 30 incident involved Benn allegedly firing gunshots at a woman while she was driving.
After an extensive search, U.S. Marshals successfully apprehended Marlon Benn in Miami, Florida, on December 15, 2023, nearly five months after Locklear's death. Benn is facing serious charges, including aggravated murder and felonious assault, for both shooting incidents. He is currently being held in local custody in Miami and will be extradited back to Ohio to face the charges against him.
