On the evening of March 27, 2025, 38-year-old African American woman Alana Enoicy was fatally shot in her Raleigh, North Carolina home on Cantwell Court. Emergency responders arrived shortly before 8 p.m. to find her critically wounded; she was transported to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
