In the early evening of May 3, 2025, the life of Cory Stanley Fields, a 46-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The incident unfolded around 5:55 p.m. near a home on North Cheyenne Avenue, where Fields sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The scene of the shooting suggested a chaotic and violent encounter, as responding officers discovered multiple shell casings indicating that at least three different firearms had been discharged.
