Adrian Jacquez Liggins, a 22-year-old man from Indianola, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on the night of January 17, 2025. According to reports, Liggins was shot while driving down Garrard Avenue after 9 p.m. He was pronounced deceased at 10 p.m. by Sunflower County Coroner Heather Burton. His death marks the first recorded homicide in Indianola for the year 2025, following nine homicides in the previous year.
