On March 23, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Indianola, Mississippi, resulting in the deaths of Steve Scott, 76; his wife, Sarah Scott, 73; and their family friend, Vanessa Cassandra Hollins, 65. The events unfolded around 12:45 p.m. at the Scotts' residence on Janet Davis Circle. Upon arrival, police discovered Sarah Scott and Vanessa Hollins deceased outside the home, while Steve Scott was found inside, all having suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
