On February 10, 2025, 15-year-old African American girl Kho'Mori McGee was fatally shot in the 10900 block of John James Drive in north St. Louis County, Missouri. Responding officers found her with a gunshot wound; she was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities later identified the shooter as a 14-year-old boy, who was taken into custody and is currently held at the St. Louis County Family Court.
