Lachonda Valentine, a 48-year-old woman, was found fatally shot inside her home in the Dutchtown neighborhood of south St. Louis on May 4, 2025. Officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call at approximately 2:30 p.m. regarding a shooting at a residence located in the 4100 block of South Grand Boulevard.
