On April 23, 2025, 35-year-old Christina Lynn Rentchler, an African American female from St. Louis, Missouri, was fatally shot inside a residence in the O'Fallon neighborhood. At the time of her death, Rentchler was in the second trimester of pregnancy with her fifth child, a daughter she was eagerly expecting.
