In the late hours of a Wednesday in south St. Louis, the life of 27-year-old Micheala Bell was tragically cut short. On February 19, 2025, police responded to a call for a shooting shortly before 10:30 p.m. in the 7500 block of Minnesota Avenue. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Bell suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene, but Bell’s injuries proved fatal, and she was pronounced dead at the location. The St.
Louis Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Division has taken charge of the ongoing investigation into the young woman's death. Authorities have urged anyone with information regarding the shooting to come forward and contact the Homicide Division directly or to leave an anonymous tip with CrimeStoppers.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and police have not publicly identified any suspects. The investigation remains active as detectives continue to piece together the events that led to the fatal shooting of Micheala Bell.
