On the night of April 24, 2025, a violent domestic disturbance unfolded in the 5800 block of Grace Avenue in Affton, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, claiming the life of 25-year-old Kelsey Elem, a Black female who was known by friends and family as a dedicated advocate for her community.
