Trinity Staten, 29, a Black woman, was shot just after 2:20 a.m. on October 14, 2025, as she got into a rideshare outside the Mobil station near North Broadway and East Clarence in St. Louis’ North Riverfront neighborhood. Investigators said gunfire erupted moments after she entered the car; the driver, who was not hurt, sped her to a nearby hospital, where she died.
