On March 27, 1992, Giles Henderson, a 49-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was shot and killed at his residence located at 93 S. Champion Avenue. He sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. The incident was investigated by the Columbus Police Department but, despite the efforts to find leads, the case remains unsolved to this day.
The Ohio Attorney General's Office has classified Giles Henderson’s death as a cold case and continues to seek information from the public. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) is actively involved in highlighting unsolved homicides, such as that of Giles Henderson, in hopes that increased public awareness might lead to new tips and, eventually, justice.
