On December 27, 2024, 21-year-old Black male Tristavian Datcher was fatally shot in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Cross Lake Apartments, located in the 5600 block of South Lakeshore Drive. Tristavian Datcher sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported by the Shreveport Fire Department to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
