In the late hours of December 27, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the night in Shreveport, Louisiana, claiming the life of 21-year-old Tristavian Datcher. The fatal encounter unfolded just before 10:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Cross Lake Apartments in the 5600 block of South Lakeshore Drive. Authorities believe the shooting was the tragic outcome of a narcotics deal that had gone terribly wrong.
