In the early afternoon of a Thursday in Shreveport, Louisiana, the life of 47-year-old Malchus Prillerman, a male, was tragically cut short in what would become the city's first homicide of 2025. On January 16th, at approximately 1:30 p.m., gunshots rang out in the 2700 block of Jones Mabry Road, near the intersection with Hawkins Street in the Martin Luther King Jr. neighborhood. Prillerman was inside a vehicle when he was struck by multiple bullets.
