Brandon Durham, a 43-year-old man, was fatally shot by a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer on November 12, 2024, inside his home near Sunset Park. Durham had called 911 to report a home invasion. The officer involved in the shooting was identified as Alexander Bookman, a 26-year-old officer who had been with the department since 2021.
