On February 19, 2025, at approximately 1 a.m., Columbia Police responded to reports of gunfire at the Super 8 hotel on Clark Lane in Columbia, Missouri. Upon arrival, officers discovered 18-year-old African American female Kaidynce Payne with a gunshot wound; she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, 19-year-old Terell Anthony Fields, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, and tampering with physical evidence. Accord ...Read More
