Laura Myers, aged 53, tragically passed away on November 6, 2022, in Columbia, Missouri. Her death was the result of a domestic violence incident that escalated into a double homicide. Laura was killed alongside her granddaughter, Lea'Johna Sanders, aged 22. The incident occurred in the 1600 block of Boyd Lane, where both women were found with gunshot wounds. Laura was transported to the University of Missouri Healthcare Center but succumbed to her injuries.
