Molly Suzanne Thomas-Bowden, a 26-year-old police officer from Columbia, Missouri, tragically lost her life on February 10, 2005, after being mortally wounded during a routine traffic stop on January 10, 2005. Officer Bowden was conducting the stop at the intersection of Nifong and Forum Boulevards when she was shot three times by Richard Evans, a 23-year-old student at Columbia College.
