Ophelia Lawery-Daniels, a 9-month-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on February 28, 2025, in Saint Louis, Missouri. The infant was shot and killed in what authorities have determined to be a murder-suicide. Her father, 21-year-old Zacchaeus Daniels, was identified as the shooter.
