On December 1, 2017, 26-year-old Kolton Sawyer was shot and killed in Las Vegas while attempting to intervene in a robbery. The incident occurred when Sawyer, described as a good Samaritan, tried to chase a suspect who had just robbed a woman. Tragically, Sawyer was shot during the altercation and died from a gunshot wound to the neck. The case left his friends and family grieving the loss of a beloved son and artist. Despite efforts, the suspect remained at large.
