On April 3, 2025, Robert Lee Prince Jr., a 63-year-old male, was fatally shot outside a residence in Velda City, Missouri. The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. in the 7000 block of Lexington Avenue. Officers from the Pagedale Police Department, which provides law enforcement services for Velda City, responded to the scene following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Prince Jr. outside the residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
