In the early hours of February 9, 2025, the life of 20-year-old Taylor Malik Burton, a young Black man from Saginaw, Michigan, was tragically cut short. At approximately 1:13 A.M., police responded to a call on Stone Street and discovered Burton with gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts by the officers and medical personnel who arrived later, he was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
