In the spring of 2025, a burst of violence on a street in Jackson, Mississippi, cut short the life of 19-year-old Zephaniah Thompson. On the evening of May 7th, officers were called to the 300 block of Holden Street where they found Thompson, a male, suffering from gunshot wounds.
