Jalen Burrell Lee, a 22-year-old African American man, was a devoted father who worked at Hobby Lobby to support his young son. His life was tragically cut short on the afternoon of March 23, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Around 4:39 p.m., gunfire erupted in the 4300 block of Monroe Avenue, leaving Lee with multiple gunshot wounds. When police arrived at the scene, they found him already deceased.
