On the night of August 17, 2024, 22-year-old African American male Antoine Bowie was fatally shot while driving northbound on Interstate 110 near the Government Street exit in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Around midnight, another vehicle pulled alongside Bowie's car and opened fire, striking both him and his passenger.
