Scott Melton, a 36-year-old man, was tragically killed in a shooting on December 24, 2024, outside a Family Dollar store in East Point, Georgia. The incident occurred around 1:40 p.m. at the store located at the intersection of Delowe and Headland drives. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Melton suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.
