On October 14, 2016, Jamell M. Bridges, a 24-year-old African American male from East St. Louis, Illinois, was found unresponsive on Judith Drive in unincorporated Cahokia, Illinois. St. Clair County deputies responded to the scene at approximately 10:30 AM after receiving a report of a man lying in the roadway.
