On the evening of December 30, 2024, a grim discovery was made at a car wash on Bellemeade Drive in Marietta, Georgia. A 59-year-old man, Daniel Lanard Richardson Jr., was found unresponsive, lying in the middle of a car wash bay with gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene, but their efforts to render aid were in vain, and he was pronounced dead.
