Rakesh Patel, a 25-year-old male, was tragically killed during a violent crime spree in Marietta, Georgia, in 1992. On January 20, Patel was working at the RK Food Store on Franklin Road when he was shot in the head during an armed robbery. He succumbed to his injuries the following day at Kennestone Hospital after being taken off life support.
