Daniel Santos, a 20-year-old man, was fatally shot in the West Lawn neighborhood of Chicago on February 2, 2025. The incident occurred in an alley near the 3600 block of West 60th Place at approximately 4:36 p.m. Santos sustained gunshot wounds to the armpit and head. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but he was pronounced dead. The Cook County medical examiner’s office ruled his death a homicide.
