On January 11, 2017, 18-year-old Hispanic male David Gonzalez was fatally shot in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the Brighton Park neighborhood, specifically on the 3100 block of West 41st Place. Gonzalez was struck by eight bullets and died at the scene.
