On January 11, 2017, 18-year-old Hispanic male David Gonzalez was fatally shot in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the Brighton Park neighborhood, specifically on the 3100 block of West 41st Place. Gonzalez was struck by eight bullets and died at the scene. Four other men were wounded in the same shooting.
