Luis Arana, a 40-year-old Hispanic male, was found dead inside his Edison Park apartment in Chicago, Illinois, on December 3, 2019. His body was discovered by a friend shortly before 7 p.m. in his residence located on the 7300 block of North Harlem Avenue. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the deceased as Luis Arana and confirmed that he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his leg and torso. The autopsy results ruled his death a homicide.
