Glennell Fairley, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on July 9, 2016, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred at Ogden Park in the Englewood neighborhood on the city's South Side. Fairley was playing basketball with a 15-year-old boy when an unknown assailant opened fire, striking Fairley in the chest and arm.
