Almonte Kizer Jr., a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on November 28, 2022, in the Chatham neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. while Almonte was standing on the sidewalk in the 700 block of East 79th Street. According to the Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office, an unknown assailant opened fire, striking Almonte.
