Damari Black, a 20-year-old African American male, was found fatally shot on November 24, 2021, in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. According to reports, officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 12:15 a.m. in the 10700 block of South Langley Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Damari Black unresponsive in a vacant lot with gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen.
