Courvoisier L.M. Thurman, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 17, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois. Courvoisier was walking on a sidewalk in the Altgeld Gardens neighborhood on the Far South Side of Chicago when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 8:47 p.m. in the 700 East block of 133rd Street.
