Death by Force

In the early morning hours of January 13, 2025, Bethany Collette, a 47-year-old woman, was shot inside an apartment near Shadeland Avenue and Fall Creek Road on the northeast side of Indianapolis. When SWAT team members entered the apartment, they found both Collette and a male suspect with gunshot wounds. Both individuals were transported to local hospitals in critical condition, where Collette was later pronounced dead.
