Death by Force

Bibiano Ruano, a 24-year-old man, was fatally shot in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago on March 1, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. while Ruano was walking on the sidewalk in the 1400 block of West 18th Street. According to police reports, two individuals approached him and fired multiple shots. Ruano sustained gunshot wounds to the head and knee and was transported to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
