Erik Estrada, a 30-year-old man from Belmont Cragin, Chicago, was fatally shot on February 16, 2020, during an argument in the Dunning neighborhood on the Northwest Side. Estrada was arguing with a male suspect around 3:05 p.m. in the 6400 block of West Belmont Avenue when the suspect pulled out a gun and shot him twice in the torso before fleeing the scene. Estrada was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
