On February 2, 2025, Rolando Jose Silva, a 68-year-old Hispanic male, was fatally shot inside his home on Ramos Avenue in Hayward, California. Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 9:10 a.m. after receiving a report from a woman stating that her landlord had been shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered Silva suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics from the Hayward Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene.
