On the evening of September 8, 2021, a burst of gunfire on Newhall Street in New Haven, Connecticut, tragically cut short the life of 27-year-old Trequon Lawrence. A Black male, Lawrence was in his car between Division and Thompson streets when he was struck by multiple bullets.
