In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Wichita, Kansas, the life of 7-year-old Davion Gunter, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On March 16, 2025, police responded to a distressing call from an apartment in the 3700 block of East Ross Parkway. The caller reported that a child had been shot and was bleeding.
